WHERE ART SHAPES THE EXPERIENCE
From the lobby to the corridors, to the guestrooms, suites and even powder rooms, our hotel is unique, boutique and a true work of art. White Elephant As was designed with this 125 piece art collection in mind, including our installation of a White Elephant sculpture by Frederick Prescott who welcomes each guest with a nod on the courtyard. White Elephant Aspen art collection draws inspiration from its sister hotels on Nantucket and in Palm Beach, creating a thoughtful hybrid that reflects both local character and global sophistication.
ORIT FUCHS
The work of Orit Fuchs is featured in the lobbies of Nantucket and Palm Beach, and we’re continuing that tradition in Aspen. Orit’s work in Palm Beach is known as The Lady of the House. While working on Nantucket, we wanted to welcome guests with an equally iconic lady, which resulted in the large commissioned piece for that location. But who would be the Aspen woman? She is a skier, but she also embodies cowgirl culture and the outdoorsy-ness of summer. The result? A commissioned triptych of a skier, a cowgirl and a fly-fisher. We can’t wait for you to meet her in person.

Alexandra Seiler
American contemporary whose colorful paintings confront her daily visual experience. As a city dweller, Seiler exists within an overflowing urban grid. The paintings strip down and reassemble those forms, like the destruction and rebuilding constantly taking place in her environment. With a background in graphic design, Seiler moves freely between the screen and the hand. Often beginning with a drawing before reworking the piece digitally, there can be many steps before acrylic paint is applied to panel.
Works: Acrylic Paintings on Boards, #304
K PALM
K Palm — the artistic name of Kathleen Palmeri — is a New Jersey-based fine art painter who studied at Mason Gross, Rutgers University, and later earned a Master's in Counseling from NYU. Known for bold, layered palette knife portraits and whimsical sports-themed miniatures, she creates art that she describes as "layered and perfectly imperfect," reflecting the lives of people who have grown through struggle. Among her most beloved collections is Tiny Skiers, which she says brings her "pure joy" with their playful, abstract energy.

IAN DAVENPORT
Among the works in White Elephant Aspen are two pieces by Ian Davenport, one of Britain's most celebrated contemporary painters. Born in 1966, Davenport studied at Goldsmiths College alongside Damien Hirst and was part of the groundbreaking Young British Artists movement. He is best known for his signature "puddle" paintings, in which hundreds of thin acrylic lines are meticulously poured down a canvas, pooling and swirling at the bottom.

Each piece — rendered in an elegant wine-colored and white palette — captures the spirit of Aspen's beloved pastimes, from skiing and bicycling to horseback riding, indulging in ice cream, and embracing the rugged charm of cowboy culture.
